1. Scope
This policy covers cibus.ai. Restaurant, staff and diner product applications can use different storage for sign-in, security and service operation and provide their own privacy information.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text records a website asks a browser to store. Local storage is a similar browser feature. They can remember a choice, maintain a secure session, measure use or support advertising. The purpose—not the technology alone—determines whether a choice is required.

The locale preference contains an identifier such as gb-en or my-ms. The consent preference contains only a version, allowed or denied status, and saved and expiry times. Campaign storage accepts only the five UTM labels, external referrer origin and public content identifiers described above; it rejects email-like values, URLs and long digit sequences. These browser records do not contain form fields or messages.
Pages that use protected forms may additionally include security controls from our infrastructure provider Cloudflare, such as Turnstile bot protection. Browser storage used by such a control is strictly necessary, serves security rather than advertising, and its exact names and durations will be recorded in the table above when the control is enabled. Website error monitoring (Sentry) does not set cookies on this site.
4. Optional Google Analytics
On the production host cibus.ai, Google Analytics remains off and its script is not requested until you select “Accept analytics”. It never runs on localhost or preview hosts. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this implementation.
After acceptance, Cibus records the limited first-party campaign context described above and sends one page_view for the initial public path and each subsequent public-path navigation. The location and same-site referrer are reduced to a path without any query string or fragment. A generate_leadevent is sent only after the lead service has durably accepted a demo or contact form. That event contains the form type, public path, country-derived enquiry market, page market and locale—not the selected country, form fields, restaurant names, contact details, free-text messages or internal lead identifiers.
Google may process browser, device and network information sent when its tag is requested. Cibus limits its event fields as described above and configures the analytics cookies to expire after no more than 180 days.
5. Managing your choice
You can replace the region and language preference by choosing another edition on the region and language page. You can also remove the locale record through your browser’s cookie and site-data settings.
Before an analytics choice is saved, the website offers accept and reject controls. Afterwards, the persistent “Cookie settings” control lets you accept, reject, change or withdraw the choice. Withdrawal stops Cibus analytics events, removes the first-party campaign session and removes Google Analytics cookies visible to this website. It does not remove the necessary region, language or denied-consent preferences. You can also clear all of these records in your browser settings.
